Terms and Conditions

Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and the operator of Calcupoint(“we”, “us”). They cover every page on this website, including the calculators. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The site is for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13. You are responsible for using it in line with the laws that apply to you.
What the site is
Calcupoint provides free calculators for money, health, math, and everyday tasks, plus a short explanation of the method on each tool. There is no account, no fee, and no paid tier. Each calculation runs in your browser. We may add, change, or remove a calculator, and we may discontinue the site.
How the site handles information is described in the Privacy Policy. That policy is part of these terms.
Estimates, not professional advice
Every result is an estimate for information and education. It is not professional advice, and it is not a promise that a third party will offer you the same figure. You are responsible for any decision you make after reading a result. Consult a qualified person before you rely on a result for health, money, tax, law, or any other important decision.
Money.Mortgage, loan, auto loan, payment, refinance, credit card, retirement, interest, salary, sales tax, and related tools are not a loan offer, a credit decision, a tax return, or an investment recommendation. We are not a lender, broker, adviser, or tax preparer. A result omits costs the page does not ask for. Taxes, insurance, and fees in real life change. A mortgage comparison is not a statement that one loan is better for you. Mortgage affordability uses a 28% housing guideline and a 36% debt guideline chosen on this site. A lender can use a different limit, and the result is not an approval. Take-home pay subtracts only the deductions you type. It does not apply a tax table or a country's withholding rules. Markup and margin describe the profit on the cost and the selling price you enter. They are not a pricing recommendation.
Rates you type, and stored price indexes. The currency tool converts with the rate and the date you enter. It does not fetch a live market rate, and the date does not prove that the rate was the market rate on that day. The inflation tool uses consumer price indexes stored in the site, CPI-U annual averages for 1913 through 2025. It is not a forecast, and it does not include a later year until that year is added. A missing or incomplete official month is described on the inflation page.
Health. BMI, calories, BMR, body fat, ideal weight, and pregnancy due date are not medical devices, not a diagnosis, and not a treatment plan. They are not for emergencies. If you need urgent care, contact local emergency services. The pregnancy tool estimates a date from the information you enter. It is not clinical dating and not prenatal care. Body measurements and activity choices are inputs, not a medical history. Activity factors shown on the calorie tool are stated on that page and are not a personal exercise prescription.
Other tools. Math, time, unit, and everyday tools apply the method named on the page to the numbers you enter. They can be wrong if the inputs are wrong, and they do not know facts you did not enter.
How to read a result
Each calculator names its formula, a source, and the date that note was checked. Read that note. Rounding, what is included, and what is held constant are part of the method. Two calculators can describe similar loans with different rounding, and both pages say which method they use. A saved comparison of two scenarios is a comparison of the numbers you saved. It is not a recommendation.
We work to keep the formulas faithful to the method on the page. We do not warrant that a result is complete, current, or fit for your particular situation.
Links you share
Some calculators put the current entries in the page address so the same entries can be reopened. You choose whether to copy or send that address. You are responsible for where it goes. Do not present a shared result as an official, certified, or lender-approved figure.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for personal or commercial information. You may not:
- Break the law, or use a result to mislead someone.
- Probe, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain access to the site or another person's device.
- Copy the site, the calculators, or the explanations to build a competing service, or use automated collection that degrades the site. Ordinary indexing by a search engine is allowed.
- Use the Calcupoint name or logo to suggest that we endorse you, your product, or a result.
- Remove, hide, or falsify the estimate and the method shown with a result.
Intellectual property
The Calcupoint name, logo, page design, and original explanations are owned by the operator of the site or its licensors. Public formulas, government statistics, and the standards cited on a calculator page remain the property of their authors. We do not claim to own them.
You may link to any page. You may quote a short excerpt if you credit Calcupoint and link to the page. You may not copy a substantial part of the site.
Advertising and other sites
The site may show third-party advertisements. An ad is not our advice and not our endorsement. We do not control the advertiser, the advertisement, or any site a link opens. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. Advertising practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that a formula, a stored index, a date, or a result is free of error.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, lost data, or a decision you make from a result, whether the claim is in contract, tort, or otherwise, and whether we were told the loss was possible.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for a claim arising out of the site is limited to the amount you paid us to use it in the twelve months before the claim. That amount is zero, because the site is free.
These limits do not apply where the law forbids them. They do not limit liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where that limit is not allowed. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory rights of the country where you live.
Your responsibility for misuse
If you use the site unlawfully, or you present a result as certified or as ours in a way these terms forbid, you will cover the reasonable cost of a claim brought against us because of that misuse. This does not apply to a claim that arises only because you used a calculator as these terms allow. We will tell you about a claim that this section covers when we can.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the site operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you protections that cannot be waived. Those protections remain, including any right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.
We would rather resolve a concern directly. Contact us before you file a claim, and give us a reasonable chance to look at it. These terms do not require arbitration, and they do not take away a right to go to court that the law gives you.
General
If a court holds that one part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. We may assign these terms if the site is transferred. You may not assign your rights under these terms. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement about the site. They replace earlier versions.
We may refuse or limit access to anyone who breaks these terms or who burdens the site. Stopping use ends your right to use the site. The sections that by their nature should survive, including the disclaimers, the limit of liability, and the responsibility for misuse, survive.
Changes
We may change these terms by posting the new version on this page and changing the date above. The new version applies from the time it is posted. If you keep using the site after that, you agree to the new version. If you do not agree, stop using the site. Where the law requires more than a posted update, we will follow that law.
