Formula used

Calendar-day difference

Total days = absolute difference in calendar days. Weeks = days ÷ 7. Months = days ÷ 30.437. Years = days ÷ 365.25.

Source. The day count is the absolute number of calendar days between the two dates. Weeks divide that count by 7. Months divide it by 30.437. Years divide it by 365.25. Weekends and holidays stay in the count.
